Teltonika RUTM59 Router

Cellular & Networking Capabilities
5G / LTE Performance
• 5G (Sub-6 GHz) supporting 4×4 MIMO, in both SA & NSA modes, with downstream speeds up to 3.4 Gbps
• 4G LTE fallback: Cat 19 (DL up to ~1.6 Gbps) with 4×4 MIMO, UL up to ~200 Mbps
• Support for multiple bands to 20Mbps
SIM / Failover Logic
• The Dual-SIM design supports auto-failover: if one SIM or cellular network fails, the router can switch to the alternative SIM to maintain connectivity.
• It also allows various WAN fallback or switching scenarios (e.g. backup WAN via Ethernet)
Routing & Network Features
• The device runs RutOS, a Linux-based OS derived from OpenWRT, with full support for industrial networking, firewalling, VPNs, and advanced routing features (e.g. load balancing, policy routing)
• Supports IPv4 & IPv6, dynamic routing protocols, VLAN, QoS/traffic shaping, DNS over HTTPS, DDNS, etc.
• VPN & Tunneling support includes OpenVPN, IPsec, GRE, WireGuard, SSTP, etc.
• Remote management via Teltonika RMS (Remote Management System) for firmware updates, monitoring, and configuration
Status & Monitoring
• The web interface provides a “System” or “Status” page showing device name, firmware version, uptime, memory usage, temperatures, Ethernet and WAN status, modem IMEI, signal metrics, etc.
• Logging, alerting, and diagnostics built in via the OS and RMS platform
